2008 Awards

Quest Active Roles Server won Silver in the "Systems Management" category from Windows IT Pro "Editor's Best Awards".

Two of Quest's SQL Server products won Silver "Editor's Best" from SQL Server Magazine: Spotlight on SQL Server in the "Database Monitoring and Peformance" category; and Change Director for SQL Server in the "Database Management" category.

Quest LiteSpeed for SQL Server won the Bronze in the "Backup and Recovery" category of SQL Server Magazine’s "Editor's Best Awards."

Quest won two bronze "Community Choice Awards" from Windows IT Pro in the "Exchange Monitoring Tools" category, for MessageStats and Spotlight on Exchange.

Quest won Gold in the "SharePoint" category for File Migrator for SharePoint in the Windows IT Pro "Editor's Best Awards".

At Microsoft TechEd, PowerGUI won the "Best of TechEd 2008 IT Pro Award" for "Breakthrough Product", the best single product of the show. The Best of TechEd awards were sponsored by Windows IT Pro and SQL Server Magazine.

Quest Foglight was named a "Productivity Winner" in the "Enterprise Tools" category of the 18th annual "Jolt Product Excellence and Productivity Awards" program. The "Jolt Product Excellence and Productivity Awards" are sponsored by Dr. Dobb's and were announced at the Software Development West 2008 Conference and Expo held at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.

2007 Awards

Three products received the "SQL Server Magazine Editors' Choice" awards for 2007: Quest LiteSpeed™ for SQL Server won platinum in the Backup and Recovery category; Quest Spotlight^® on SQL Server won platinum in the Database Monitoring Tools category; and Quest Central^® for SQL Server won gold in the Database Management Tools category.

Quest Software was again named Microsoft's Global ISV Partner of the Year for 2007. The Global ISV Partner award winner is selected each year from among Microsoft’s Global ISV Partners, a select group of organizations committed to delivering exemplary Microsoft Windows-based solutions to worldwide customers.

At Microsoft TechEd, Quest Site Administrator for SharePoint won a "Best of TechEd" award, sponsored by Windows IT Pro, SQL Server Magazine, and Office & SharePoint Pro.com, in the SharePoint category.

Performance Analysis for SQL Server was named the Best Database Development and Administration product for the "Attendee’s Pick" award at Microsoft TechEd. The award was sponsored by Windows IT Pro, SQL Server Magazine, and Office & SharePoint Pro.com

Four Quest products were recognized by Redmond magazine readers in their annual "Reader’s Choice Awards." In the Best Migration Product category, Quest Migration Manager for Active Directory was selected as the winner. Quest Spotlight on SQL Server was a preferred product in the Best SQL Tool category, Quest Migration Suite for AD/Exchange was a preferred product for the Best Server Migration Product and Quest SharePlex® was a preferred product for Best Load Balancing Product.

Quest Benchmark Factory^® received IT Week's "Editor's Choice" award for 2007.

LiteSpeed for SQL Server 4.6 was selected as a winner in the TechTarget "Products of the Year" competition. In the Backup and Recovery category, Quest LiteSpeed for SQL Server won the Gold award.

Quest Group Policy Manager was name Silver winner in the Group Policy category of the SearchWinIT.com TechTarget "Products of the Year".

Three Quest products took awards in the SearchExchange.com TechTarget "Products of the Year" competition. Quest MessageStats was named the Silver winner in the Exchange Server Reporting and Management category. Quest Recovery Manager for Exchange was named the Silver winner in the Exchange Server Backup and Recovery category. Quest Archive Manager was named Bronze winner in the Exchange Server Archiving and Compliance category.

Quest Availability Manager for Exchange was selected as InfoWorld's "2007 Technology of the Year" Best Exchange High Availability Solution.

2006 Awards

Quest Exchange Migration Wizard™ was selected as the winner in the Migration category of the "MSExchange.org Readers' Choice Awards."

Quest ERDisk™ was named Best Emergency Recovery Console Utility in the 2006 "Windows IT Pro Readers' Choice Awards."

Three products received the "SQL Server Magazine Editors' Choice" awards for 2006: Quest LiteSpeed for SQL Server won Platinum in the category of Backup and Remote/Disaster Recovery; Quest SQL Turbo won Platinum in the category of Database Development; and Quest Coefficient won Gold in the category of Performance and Monitoring.

At Microsoft TechEd, Quest Archive Manager was named Best Exchange Product in the "Attendees' Pick" award sponsored by MSD2D.com.

At Microsoft TechEd, Quest Spotlight® on SQL Server Enterprise won a “Best of TechEd“ award, sponsored by Windows IT Pro and SQL Server Magazines, in the category of Best Database Development and Administration product.

Quest MessageStats™ was honored as "Editors Choice" in the January Windows IT Pro comparative review of Exchange reporting tools. Reviewer Adam Carheden said that MessageStats' simplicity and ease of use make this an ideal tool for administrators who need to easily provide Exchange reports to other users.

Two products from Quest Software were selected as winners in the TechTarget "Products of the Year" competition. In the General Database Utilities category, Quest LiteSpeed for SQL Server won the Gold award. In the Group Policy Management category, Quest Group Policy Extensions for Desktops won the Gold award.

2005 Awards

Quest Spotlight on Exchange was selected as the winner in the Administration category for the MSExchange.org "Readers' Choice Award."

Quest won two "Best of Tech-Ed 2005 Europe" awards. Quest MessageStats won in the Messaging category and Quest Central for SQL Server won in the Data Management Solutions category.

At Microsoft TechEd, Quest Collaboration Services™ for Exchange won a "Best of TechEd" award, sponsored by Windows IT Pro and SQL Server Magazines, in the category of Productivity and Collaboration.

At Microsoft TechEd, Quest Archive Manager was named Best Archiving Product in the "People's Choice" award sponsored by MSD2D.com.

At Microsoft TechEd, three Quest products won "Target Awards" sponsored by W2Knews. Quest ActiveRoles Server won in the category of Domain Management. Quest ActiveRoles™ Direct won in the category of Active Directory Management. Quest ERDisk won in the category of ERD Management.

2004 Awards

Quest Software earned the #12 spot in the 2004 DM Review 100. This is up from #24 in 2003.

Quest MessageStats was named Best Capacity Planning/Trend Analysis Software in "Windows IT Pro 2004 Readers' Choice Awards."

At Microsoft TechEd 2004, MSD2D.com announced the winners of its annual "People's Choice" awards. Quest MessageStats™ won in the category of Microsoft Exchange Administration Solutions and Recovery Manager for Exchange took top honors in the Microsoft Exchange Backup Solutions category.

Five Quest products for Windows Management were honored in Fawcette Technical Publications’ second annual "Windows Server System Magazine Reader’s Choice Awards." Recovery Manager for Active Directory and Recovery Manager for Exchange were runners up in the Disaster Recovery Utilities category; and the Quest Spotlight products (Spotlight on Active Directory, Spotlight on Exchange, and Spotlight on Windows) were runners up in the Performance Optimization category.

Four products from Quest Software were honored in the SearchWin2000.com "Products of the Year" competition. In the Active Directory product category, Enterprise Migration Manager (now known as Quest Migration Manager for Active Directory) won the Gold award and Quest Spotlight on Active Directory won the Silver. Recovery Manager for Exchange was named the Bronze winner in the Messaging category. Quest Consolidator won the Bronze award in the Networking and Systems Management category.

2003 Awards

Readers of Microsoft Certified Professional Magazine named Enterprise Migration Manager (now known as Migration Manager for Active Directory) as the "Best Product for Migrating Servers," in the December 2003 "Product You Love" issue.

Enterprise Directory Manager (now known as Quest ActiveRoles Server) as the Best User and Directory Management Tool in "Windows & .NET Magazine's Readers' Choice Awards."

Exchange Migration Wizard won the 2003 ".NET Magazine Reader's Choice Award" in the category of Best Exchange Management.
